Coinbase is a platform, where anyone can buy cryptocurrency like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and many other cryptocurrency. Coinbase makes margin by charging the customers transaction fees when anyone trade. It depends on the volume they trade, in which larger trade make more fees.
Coinbase recently did IPO and went public in Nasdaq. I think that Coinbase will do good due to the pandemic, the USA government has started to print more money. People then are using that printed money and have gotten into the stock market which is why eventually people will stumble across Cryptocurrency and will start investing in it , and since there is not any easy way of buying them people will end up using Coinbase causing Coinbase to become even more profitable. All though there might be a risk since cryptocurrency is still not a stable market. Crypto currency is not allowed in many countries which is why coinbase might sink or struggle. Coinbase has many other competitions such as Binance, Pionex,Bitfinex etc.
